Annah Riedel holds a Bachelors in Elementary Education with a concentration in STEM from NC State University. Annah is now an 8th year teacher who started her career with Exploris Elementary's opening in 2014. Annah is currently a 4th grade teacher. She serves at the school in many capacities other than as a classroom teacher but her favorite is the Elementary Ambassador Coordinator for 4th and 5th grade students.
Since starting at Exploris Annah was part of the Design for Change 2016 award winning team, an Educator of Excellence (2017) and a Kenan Fellow for Teacher Leadership (2018-2019), completed her National Boards (2019-2021) and is currently a UNC Parks Collaborative Educator (2021-2022). Annah has also advocated on behalf of schools and community partnerships through Business NC. Annah is innovative, reflective, and relationship-oriented. Annah is passionate about teaching, design-thinking, and photography. Her proudest moment personally was completing the Camino de Santiago in 2019. A thru-hike across Northern Spain!
