Scarlet Jovin-Fisher has her MFA in Art Education K-12 from UNCG and her BAS in Biocommunications photography from RCC. In undergrad she focused on Global Education. She studied abroad in Brasil for six months. Saudades. In 2006 she travelled to China. She hopes to travel again soon. Her interests include playing the baritone ukulele, singing, dancing, swimming in lakes and rivers, hiking, reading, creating rainbows, and meditating. In summers prior she has had the honor of being an elder for the Gathering of Native Americans youth workshops in San Diego, CA on Kumiai land. Her joy comes from helping others find and bring out their inner selves through art, and other expressive modalities. Her favorite art mediums are sculpture, paper, watercolor, glitter and polymer clay.
