Alexandra is an Exploris alumni, Crew and Math teacher, and Head Coach of the Exploris MS Cross Country Team. Alexandra holds a BS from the University of North Carolina Asheville and a Masters Degree from NC State University. She is certified to teach secondary science and middle grades mathematics. Alexandra swam on the varsity collegiate team at UNC Asheville, breaking 10 varsity records. She was 3-time Scholar Athlete of the Year and 2-time Swim Team Hardest Worker Award Honoree. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned the Neuroscience Academic Achievement Award in 2017. Outside of school, Alexandra enjoys traveling, hiking, swing and fusion dancing, board games like Wingspan and Root, and spending time with her friends outdoors.
