Kelly Gay, 3rd Grade

Kelly Gay holds a B.S. in Middle Grades Education from North Carolina State University and is certified in Mathematics and Science for grades 6–12. She is also licensed in Elementary Education (K–6).

Known for integrating reading and writing into math and science, Kelly was featured on PBS Boston for her innovative cross-curricular approach. With experience in both traditional and virtual classrooms, she focuses on engaging diverse learners.

Kelly is especially grateful to be part of the Exploris community as both an educator and a parent — her daughter attends the elementary school, and her son attends the middle school.

Outside of teaching, Kelly enjoys baking sourdough bread, reading suspense novels, and traveling with her family.
